MONGOLIA
Treating Animals, Blessing People
In Mongolia, livestock health is human health. Families depend on their animals for food, income, and survival. Through the new Enerekh Veterinary Clinical Training Center, Christian veterinary care will strengthen livelihoods and open doors for the gospel to change lives across Mongolia.

MONGOLIA IS VAST.
OPEN. REMOTE.
Much of the land cannot support crops, so families depend on livestock for food, income, and transportation. Nearly forty percent of the population lives as herders in traditional “ger” (yurt-like) homes on the open plains, often moving with the seasons and relying on limited infrastructure.
Access to veterinary care is scarce, and preventive medicine is rare. Many herders manage large herds with minimal training or support. Harsh winters, especially after drought, can decimate livestock and trigger immediate loss of food, income, and stability for families.
The Five Snouts
The “5 Snouts” of livestock in Mongolia include cattle/yaks, horses, camels, sheep, and goats.
Livestock per capita
Mongolia has 40 times the number of livestock per capita than the United States.
Trained Veterinary Care Is Essential
Treating Animals, Blessing People
Many graduates leave school with little hands-on experience. That gap can turn manageable issues into devastating losses. Veterinary care must move beyond classroom theory and into daily practice.
Strengthening veterinary care means strengthening everything connected to it. Food security. Income stability. Family resilience. Rural communities need skilled veterinarians now, not later.

V.E.T. NET
VETERINARY EDUCATION AND TRAINING NETWORK
A Mongolian-led Christian ministry equipping new veterinarians with real-world skills.
This ministry is not starting from scratch. It is building on years of trusted presence and proven impact. Through competitive internships, externships, and hands-on field training, V.E.T. Net veterinarians are making a tangible impact in communities across Mongolia.
Over time, their work has reshaped careers, strengthened communities, and led many young professionals to follow Christ, including most of their current leadership.

A unique opportunity to enhance the care of animals, support families, and spread the gospel across Mongolia.
The Enerekh Veterinary Clinical Training Center
*Enerekh means “to show mercy”
The Enerekh Veterinary Clinical Training Center is being built to make trained, accessible veterinary care possible in rural Mongolia and to serve as a sending base for missional veterinarians.
It will be the first climate-controlled large-animal treatment and training facility of its kind in the country. A permanent place where veterinarians gain real-world experience, herding families receive skilled care, and long-term relationships are formed.
This center turns training into practice, practice into presence, and presence into lasting impact.

WHAT THE CENER MAKES POSSIBLE
God cares for His people. God cares for His animals. This is a unique opportunity to do both and spread the gospel at the same time.
TREATING
The center provides skilled veterinary care for livestock in the surrounding region. Healthy animals mean stable livelihoods and families that can endure difficult seasons.
TRAINING
Young veterinarians gain hands-on experience through multi-year training. Real cases. Real responsibility. Skills that cannot be learned in a classroom.
REACHING
Daily work creates long-term relationships. Faith is shared through presence, service, and consistency, not programs alone.
SENDING
Trained veterinarians are sent into rural and underserved regions across Mongolia. Some will carry this work beyond the country as cross-cultural veterinary workers.
